Largemouth and smallmouth bass will be the target species for this tournament. Each participant will be able to submit up to 5 of their longest largemouth, smallmouth or a combination of the two species.  Each participant is allowed to cull as many fish as they need to increase their 5 fish total length.   (Culling example…if you already have 5 fish and the shortest fish is 14″ and then you catch a 17” fish, the 14” fish is replaced by your 17” fish).  All catches must use the C.P.R. (Catch, Photo, & Release) format.  Please read through the rules tab for complete details.

Also new this year is the Big Fish Bounty.  Each participant can pay a $15 buy-in towards the bounty.  Whoever pays in and catches the biggest fish wins the bounty with a 100% payout.  In case of a tie for the Big Fish Bounty, the bounty will be split.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and Big Fish Bounty winner will win cash prizes.  Winnings will be mailed or sent via PayPal to each winning participant within one week of tournament.  A raffle will be held during the awards ceremony as well with many prizes given away.  You must fish this event to be eligible for the 2018 Kayak Fishing National Championship qualifying slots.
